Interested in accessing published primary sources and commentaries related to the Neuman Systems Model?

The two documents that follow provide information on published reports in which the authors have used the Neuman Systems Model to guide their nursing research. The first document comprises a bibliography of published reports of nursing research guided by the Neuman Systems Model. The information is presented with the permission of Dr. J. Fawcett and is cited in Fawcett, J. (2000). Analysis and evaluation of contemporary nursing knowledge: Nursing models and theories. Philadelphia: Davis.

The second document comprises an updated list of published nursing references using the Neuman Systems Model complied by Dr. J. Fawcett since the publication of Dr. Fawcett’s text and is used with permission.

The bibliographies / reference lists identify the use of the Neuman Systems Model in the published nursing literature with regard to: primary sources, commentary in relation to general, research, education, and practice; nursing research studies, doctoral dissertations, master’s theses, clinical and education tools, education, administration, and practice.

If you have any questions or would like further information regarding the use of the Neuman Systems Model to guide your nursing research inquiry, please contact Dr. J. Fawcett. You can also complete the information in the Contact and Feedback link on the Home Page.
