Call for Abstracts

Abstracts for papers and/or posters on topics related to the use of the Neuman Systems Model and/or other nursing theories to enhance global health are invited. All abstracts will receive blind review by the Abstracts Review Committee. Research abstracts need to include the study purpose, conceptual framework, methodology, results, discussion and implications. Position Papers are also welcome and the abstract should include purpose, discussion and conclusion. One presenter for each paper or poster selected will be eligible for a reduced registration fee. All presenters must be registered participants for the Symposium. (Reduced registration fee for first author.)

 

Submission Deadline: 15 December 2008

Presenters Notified of Acceptance by 20 January 2009

Confirmation of Presenter Attendance due by 20 February 2009

 

Submission Requirements

 

Submission are Preferred as e-mail attachments but CDs sent by regular mail will be accepted if postmarked by deadline date. Abstracts should be typed using Word 6.0 or higher, single-spaced, one-inch margins, Times Roman Font, 12-point size. Maximum length: 300 words. One or two participant outcomes must be listed following the abstract. Identifying information should be submitted on a separate page from the abstract and include title of presentation, author name(s), title(s), organization, mailing address, fax number, e-mail address, and preference for paper or poster presentation.
